Since he'll be rolling out this week, I've put the finishing touches on the Zenkaikon photos. We had an amazing time!

The internet showed up and surrounded Kevin during this year's Zenkaikon. I think they enjoyed his Sucks To Be Weegie Comic and were hovering like terrifying bees around a tight and unwilling blossom.

Ari & Aaron from Manifested Dreams. We run in many of the same online circles and really got a chance to meet in person at this con. As you can see, they sell the awesome yarn creatures that they make. NARWHALS FOR THE WIN. (They'll be at Tekkoshocon this weekend too... :D)

THE CUTEST KIRBY I'VE EVER SEEN! omg, it's a brain-bending attack of the cutes! (Yes, we have her parental permission to post!)
Congratulations, Vilsy & JJ! Not only do these guys make some of the coolest original custom pixel art I've ever seen (Kevin bought me a full set of Ninja Turtles from them. *so happy!*), they're also engaged to be married by the end of April! Many, many happy years together, you two! ♥

Will was on the WEBCOMICS Q&A panel at Zenkaikon with us! He's a writer for "Friday Knights." You can check them out on Friday Knights. He was exceptionally fun to talk to and has some very lovely teeth.
This year there was something super-infectious going around the con... rampant Weegee-ism. Kevin, our artist who does the Sucks To Be Weegie Comic, came down with a terrible case of it.
Jessi and Matt draw "Geeks Next Door" a delicious slice-of-geek-life-&-adventures webcomic. They update twice a week, have been rolling since 2007, and did a stellar job raising money for the Red Cross Japan Relief Fund this weekend! Jessi and Matt were on the webcomics panel with us and it was a sheer delight. You can read their work at Geeks Next Door.
My love for you is like a truck! BERSERKER!! Let us go a make somefuck muffins... BERSERKER!!!!
After the show was over, a bunch of us wandered over to Bertucci's. We ate enough there to satisfy a bull elephant for a week. It was glorious. We took several photos. This actually IS the best one of Kevin. My dear, sweet goober.
AND THAT WAS ZENKAIKON! WOO!
In news closer to home, I applied for my boss' job and had my interview. The interview itself went very well. I'm told that the decision regarding the boss' job will be reached as soon as March 31st, perhaps in the week after that. So, I alternate wildly between ridiculous Chihuahua-levels of anxiety and anticipation and willful obliviousness. If I don't think about it, it'll get here soon enough. Surely sweating about it is the least 'managerial' thing I could do. Gotta stay cool. Either I get it or I don't. No point in freaking.
Not about the job anyways.
LOL. Kevin can tell you that I'm five flavors of basket case about the studio right now. We'll be sinking so much money and effort into AnimeBoston. It's one of the biggest financial risks we've ever taken with the studio. It's less than a month away, and let me tell you internets, I'm fit to be tied.
I do tend to work better when there's a fire under my ass though and I'm burnin' up right now!
