Celebrate with me. All my credit cards are paid off. Period. I have one year of school loans, but nothing else. (Please don't remind me about the wedding less than a year off--I wanna live in denial for a smidgen longer.

KITTIES
DIGNIFIED!
PRETTY GIRL! She grew up pretty nice for a freak without eyes.

3...2...1... FIRE!
Yzma has enough eyes for both of them. Duck and cover, people. This cat is fully charged and ready to blow.

Rare Eastern Seaboard Catrot
We had no heat up until this past Saturday, and kitties cannot add sweater-layers. [livejournal.com profile] melannen has taught Visas that the warmest place in the house is on people. Now we have a Parrot Cat or "Catrot."

It's on my head.
Catrot's are adorable, unless your personal biology makes your cranium significantly warmer than your shoulders. That's when the Catrot's bird-instincts trigger and it tries to hatch your head.

As an aside, the Catrot is nothing if not determined, often settling in for durations of multiple months. Thankfully, I was able to have her removed before she started building her nest.

Berlioz was not properly represented in this cat-pic-spam batch. Here he is now, demonstrably larger than Roxane's entire torso. He is also very disappointed. Let this be a lesson to all who would neglect his mighty fluff. It makes the Berlioz sad.

CONVENTION!
Interro-booth
I'm not in the photo, on account of me having the camera. It's SCIENCE!

While at Clandestine-Con, Kevin was commissioned to draw 'Zelda' by the most impatient man in the world and his wife. They stood there, practically shifting foot to foot while she talked about people who were already in the car. They really liked it though. It all works out. Run on, busy people, run on!

YARD!

Sally, Bowie, and I raked leaves. SO MANY LEAVES. It was a lovely weekend for it, though. Beautiful sun. High, blue sky. Just the three of us and over thirty trash bags of leaves.

This is my favorite one from the day. It's my new desktop. All those marigolds from when we moved in are still blooming! :D

Forgive me, but I must go ink things or there will be a hell toupee.

Congrats!! That's hard work!

Thank you!

That yard took Sally and I a solid 2 days. Without Bowie's help, we'd never have gotten it all bagged and piled before dark on Sunday.

Hip Hip Her...Ray!
Good for you. I am two month away from the goal my self.

Awesome. :) We shall have to have some kind of (modestly-priced) commemorative event when that happens!

Many congrats! I've been working on eliminating my credit card debt for a year now; I still have quite a way to go. But seeing you reach your goal gives me hope and encouragement. :)

Hell, up until I totaled my car and suddenly didn't have insurance, gas, or car payments, I wasn't sure I'd get to $0.00 myself.

I feel guilty because I'm almost (hesitant to call it this, but) grateful? I couldn't have had a 'better' set of circumstances for my car accident. I'm not hurt. No one else was involved. My car got paid off from the settlement. The settlement's leftovers went towards the credit card debt. And now I don't owe $$$$$$ on a monthly basis for car-crap.

... insane-o miracle of OMG.

That just proves that things happen for a reason and that there is always a silver lining even to the worst circumstances. :)

Great pictures, and HOORAY ON THE CREDIT CARD!

The convention circuit (and having pictures to post in the news posts on ?! (http://www.interrobangstudios.com)) has really pushed me lately to EDIT the photos i take for posting. I've got gigs of unedited photos that I can't just upload b/c they're huge--or i want them cropped/adjusted/touched up.

Under the cover of "this is for the studio," I stole some time and did the most recent set. It feels nice to share them.

I just got a new computer at work, and lo, all the photos I've been putting off dealing with are simple and easy! But I feel you on the putting it off. Oh, do I feel you.

Congratulations on the credit cards!

Visas is the most beautiful kitty! And the B is freaking HUGE-- I'd no idea he was that big! Claude would run from him I think.

And beautiful other pictures.

And I just LOVE seeing your convention pics and your own space etc!

Thank you, Cyn! Visas thanks you, too.

Berlioz... Mr. Oz... He's indeed a beef-tastic, kitty-stud. But really... Blue's Loki is MAMMOTH. When/if she should ever have the time, I would encourage her to get some "scale" shots of him. Something where you see him next to a penny or a person or a standard-size ninja turtle figure. You know, so you get an idea of his MAJESTY. (That much cat is majesty by default.)

He's not a fat cat. Those are everywhere. His BONES are ENORMOUS. His skull is larger than my closed fist by a significant margin. I personally believe that his lineage included burros or ponies or something. The cat's a beast. ... and a total love... :D I'll check and see if I have any pictures of him. He may not be one of the "Seven wonders of the modern world," but he's definitely in the top seven wonders of Blue's apartment building.

VICTORY IS THINE! *applause*

Also: I needed pictures of kitties. Thank you.

You sounded like you could use more than kitties, Blue. If you can put up with housewares shopping (for stuff to winterize our windows, etc), some curtain sewing, and a 'mini-con' at the local library where Kevin's giving an art tutorial to middle schoolers, you're welcome to come hang with us this weekend.

I don't know if company would help more than genuine sleep and real down-time or not, but the offer's there.

I had some trouble combining cat and parrot. The inclination is to call it a 'carrot,' but i don't want any rogue vegans or rabbits getting the wrong idea about my domesticated animal.

Congratulations on the big credit card pay-off! We're still working on ours but getting there. :)

The kitties are looking gorgeous! Visas is a particularly lovely girl.

:D Thank you, and good luck on yours too! The wedding and the studio will probably put us BACK to 'needing to pay things off'... but they'll be worth it, and having paid this shit off once, I feel better about being able to do it again.

Berlioz graciously accepts your compliments as you are a highly-trained professional in the field of aesthetics. Visas just thinks it's very nice of you to say things like that. And... um... Yzma just ate the legs off a bug. So interpret that as you will. I've got a bug-body to get rid of.

Congratulations, you! And those pictures look excellent -- particularly the convention booth. (You guys should've told me you were going to be there; I live like right down the street from the hotel where it was held! But we'll hang one of these days. :)) So professional, and that Zelda is very lovely. As is the Starfire/Firestar pic.

That massive cat frightens me.
