Hi! We've been super-busy with the studio, so here's the deal. This post is about:
Blake has been busting his hump to make it easier for people to post comments on our comics. He's got it set so that our system is compatible with any of the dozens of logins/passwords you've already got for other stuff. You don't need an INTERROBANG STUDIOS account! You tell us which program: Google, AIM, Facebook, Livejournal, Yahoo, MySpace, Blogger, Dreamwidth, Windows Live ID (hotmail), or Other Open ID; you want to use.
Login in once--our system doesn't even store your password. We just ask Google/etc, "Hey, is this person a spambot?" They say "NO." We go "Oh, okay," and put a little tick-mark in our database that you are human. Next time you come back? Click the login button. That's it.
NO NEW PASSWORDS OR ACCOUNTS! WOOT! Thank you, Blake. Hopefully this will generate more talk in the comments.

Far Point SciFi Convention
February 12, 13, & 14
Crowne Plaza Hotel
2004 Greenspring Drive, Timonium, MD 21093
We will have a table in the artist alley/fan gallery and our entire crew will be doing assorted panels throughout the con! Interested in stuff that we might talk about? You can see us at:
SF Worldbuilding: (Sally Catlin) What works and what doesn't, where to start and when to stop, how to fake it and when you shouldn't fake it, and learning from the hard sciences *and* the soft sciences.
Not Everyone's A Pro: (Sally Catlin) many SF fans dream of someday becoming a pro writer, but writing just for yourself and the love of it has its own charms. The benefits & disadvantages of focusing on pro status, why we write, the tradition of fanwriting in SF fandom, and legitimate alternative methods of distribution and publicity.
Writing and Drawing Cartoons and Comics: (Kevin Bolk) Ever wanted to write or draw your own comics but don't know where to start? Join us as we break down discuss the history and techniques of this exciting visual medium. What's the best way to write a comic script? How does page design work? If you get a monkey* to draw your comic, do you have to give him bananas? A myriad of genres and styles will be covered.
*Discussion may not actually include monkeys.
Convention Sales for Creative Types (Sarah Martinez) For anyone who's ever wanted to sell their creativity at con: writing, art, or craft. Construct a concrete game plan for your convention sales table. Get a helping hand with the numbers: expenses, costs, and sales goals. You'll be walked through pre-con planning, inventory considerations, displays, salesmanship, and etiquette.
User Interfaces of today and tomorrow: (Blake Schreurs) Sick of slaving away at a keyboard? Tired of that touchpad? The next generation of user interfaces is coming. From buttons to touchscreens: what works, what doesn't, and where we're going from here.
We'll also be on a Webcomics Panel run by some other folks... all in all, we'll be really busy and involved this con! I'm super-excited, because we're moving to the next level of involvement with conventions--not just at Far Point, but at most of the convention's we've applied for this year.
